River Dell’s Joe Morra, who earned second-team All-Bergen County as a center, will play football next season at Bentley University, coach DJ Nimphius said.
Morra is a 5-foot-11, 230-pounder who was a two-year, two-way starting lineman and a captain on the Golden Hawks team that last season went 9-2 and reached the North 1, Group 2 final.
Morra is a very good student who takes Advanced Placement classes and is expected to graduate with a 3.5 grade-point average before heading to the college in Waltham, Mass.
