I know we’re only two weekends into the season, but it’s never too early to put out our first stat package. Each week (hopefully) we’re going to try to put the leaders in five categories here on Aces. The three scoring lists will be goals, assists and total points. The two goaltending lists will be save percentage and goals against average. A quick note, the save percentage will be based on a minimum number of shots, the goals against average on a minimum number of minutes played.
Coaches, because The Record is in between systems, I will be the keeper of the records for this season. Please try to be diligent in getting all of your games to The Record. As some of you have already noticed, I’ll be calling you or e-mailing you if we’re missing a game. The object is to get every game’s box score in the paper (if possible, even if it’s a day late) as well as to me to keep the tabulations.
Some of you have already added my e-mail to your distribution lists when it comes to sending in box scores or providing game and season  summaries and statistics. If I’m not on your list, please get in touch with me so I can get included.
