Teaneck, ranked No. 1 in the North Jersey Top 25 all season, walked away with the top seed in the Bergen County girls basketball tournament Wednesday night at River Dell High School.
The Highwaywomen (12-1) haven’t lost a game to a Bergen County team this season and have been considered all along as the team to beat. Defending champion IHA (11-2) is the second seed followed by Northern Highlands (12-2).
Play begins Satirday at the homes of the higher seeds.
