Emerson stayed in-house, promoting defensive coordinator David Murphy to replace Mike Menditto, who stepped down after last season after being promoted to an administrative position in the school.
Murphy said there won’t be any major changes on defense, but the offense should have some new twists. The Cavos are bringing on former Passaic Valley, River Dell and New Milford head coach Angelo DeSalvo as offensive coordinator.
