Junior QB Dylan Connolly ran for three first-half TDs and River Dell ran to a 49-14 victory over Lodi in tonight’s North 1, Group 3 football quarterfinal.
The Golden Hawks’ triple option attack amassed 282 first-half yards while building a 42-6 lead, and Connolly scored on runs of 63, 6 and 45 yards.
Senior QB Dan Nastasi’s 2-yard TD run at 3:01 of the second quarter gave River Dell (7-3) its 42-6 halftime lead, and the clock ran the entire second half due to the “35-point Rule.â€
