I reached out to every football coach I have in my phone (which is almost everyone) to get a scrimmage schedule, since we will begin our camp tours later this month, and, hey, I like going to football scrimmages. You can learn a lot.
A few things before I get to the schedule.
– As of now, Teaneck only had one scrimmage and they may be looking for another one (or two). So if you’re a coach and you want to reach out to them, they may be interested in getting together.
– I am missing a few schools, like Clifton and Cresskill, Butler and Pequannock, but I got a very good response. But also know that sometimes coaches had conflicting info, one said they were scrimmaging on the 28th, the other said the 29th, and some things that are listed as just 2 teams may be tri-scrimmages or quads.
– Also some scrimmages are really like games, while others are just going to be more practice oriented with the different teams kind of subbing in.
– Oh, and wear sunscreen.
