I used to ask/tease River Dell coach DJ Nimphius saying I wish he would have a clinic on the spread offense. Well, tomorrow night, he is having one….but on stopping the spread.
Starting at 7 p.m. in the Upstairs wing of River Dell High School, there will be a free (yes, free) football clinic hosted by Nimphius and featuring Old Tappan defensive coordinator Joe Clause, Montclair State linebacker coach Joe Gambardella and long-time Bergen County coach Greg Tanzer. It will be a roundtable discussion style. And, unless something comes up, I plan on being there. I am sure I will learn something.
