North Jersey golf teams have officially hit midseason form, and it arrives just in time for the start of next week’s league tournaments.
Consider that Tenafly shot a school-record 2-under 142 on Monday at Overpeck GC in Teaneck, with David Wolgin leading the way with 4-under 32. On the girls side, Holy Angels shot a season-best 189.

Four-player scores in the 140s are excellent, regardless of course difficulty. Scores in the low 150s are very good. Scores in the high 150s are still good. Numbers in the low to mid 160s are respectable for all but the best teams, such as Bergen Catholic and Don Bosco.
