So, we had some major changes on the Coaching Wins list (softball style) in 2013. And next year already looms as another one with some changes coming.
I have also added Mondo to the list, since she just makes it with 200 wins. If you didn’t already know, Mondo has stepped down at St. Mary. Ali Bryan has also resigned at Midland Park, and Elaine Catanese stepped down at Lyndhurst.
It won’t be the same without Mondo and I promised him a Mondo Awards spectacular before the end of the month. Really.
But the list is updated through the 2013 season. Any problems, anyone else want to add (paging Sue Parler, paging Sue Parler, or Bob Aughey) their numbers, please let me know.
So obviously, next year, should H come back (hey, you never know) he can become No. 2 on the all-time list. Darren White made the biggest jump this year and can probably become 7th all-time with a good year.
Milestones? Leslie, if she comes back (hey, you never know) is 2 away from 400, Nielsen is 17 away from 400, Larezza is 24 away from 300.
Other milestones, Sue Benj is 2 away from 100 and Landeck looks like she will make the main list if/when she gets to 200 next year.
Again, if they all come back. Lots of things can happen.
