Today could best be described as “Clinch Day,” in Big North girls volleyball, with NV/Old Tappan, Paramus, River Dell, Clifton, and Fort Lee in position to clinch outright division titles with a win.
NV/Old Tappan clinches the National with a win over NV/Demarest. NV/Demarest likely will secure a share of the division crown with an avenging victory.
Paramus clinches the Freedom with a win over Ramapo. Ramapo likely will earn a share of the division crown with an avenging win.
River Dell clinches the Patriot with a win over Pascack Hills. Pascack Hills needs an avenging win to climb within a game of River Dell.
Clifton clinches the Liberty with a win over Eastside, or if second-place Passaic Tech loses to Bergen Tech.
Fort Lee clinches the American with a victory over Dumont. Dumont likely will earn a share of the division title with an avenging win.
