Top-seeded Demarest hosts rival and No. 4 Northern Highlands today at 5 p.m. in a North Group 3 girls’ volleyball tournament semifinal.
Demarest and Northern Highlands are among 12 local teams competing today in state action, and three more will battle Tuesday.
The 15 local teams:
North Group 1: (1) Bogota, (2) Midland Park, (4) Rutherford, (6) Waldwick.
North Group 2: (1) River Dell, (2) Ramapo, (3) Mahwah, (4) Pascack Valley.
North Group 3: (1) Demarest, (3) Old Tappan, (4) Northern Highlands.
State Non-Public: (1) Immaculate Heart, (3) Holy Angels, (4) Paramus Catholic, (6) DePaul.
