These rankings do not take into account possible mistakes or missed results.
These rankings also rank the teams based on their entire season results rather than the “best 10″ results which is a new seeding procedure for the state tournament this season.
And finally, there could be situations where a team could jump over a team above it in the rankings when the tournament is officially seeded on Tuesday.
The top 6 teams in each section qualify for the sectional. The top 2 seeds get a bye in the first round while 3 faces 6 and 4 faces 5 in the first round on Monday Feb. 10. The sectional semifinals are Wednesday Feb. 12 and the sectional finals on Friday Feb. 14.
The State Group Championships will be on Sunday Feb. 16 at the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River.
