This coming Saturday, 12/3 River Dell will take on West Essex in the NJSIAA North I, Group II state sectional finals in football at Met Life Stadium at 1 pm.  Below are some instructions from  the NJSIAA for ticket purchase and other important matters related to this game for all spectators.

All tickets are general admission and will be sold (cash only) at the Met Life Stadium, Pepsi Gate, West Gate and Verizon Gate for all games with ticket booths opening one hour prior to the first game (ticket booths open at 9 am on Saturday, 12/3).  Advance ticket sales may be purchased Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm at Met Life Stadium and 11 am to 6 pm at the Izod Arena.  Contact the box office at 201-559-1300 to obtain group sales prior to the game.  Tickets will not be sold at the school this week.  Ticket prices for this championship game are as follows;  adults $9, student & sr. citizens $3.  Parking is $10.  One daily admission ticket allows the purchaser to see all games on that day/night.  Any fans leaving the Stadium will have to pay a second admission to return (no pass outs).

Fans are advised to arrive one hour before game time when their team is the second or third game on either Saturday or Sunday (we are the second game on Saturday).

Parking as directed by Stadium staff.  Lots open on Saturday at 8 am.

Seating for the visiting team (lower seed) spectators will be on the West Side of the Stadium.

No alcoholic beverages/illegal substances.  NJSIAA procedures and pertinent statutes to be strictly enforced.

No tailgating in violation of the above statement.

No cans, bottles or containers are to be brought into Met Life Stadium.

No banners, streamers, or other such decorative materials are permitted in the Stadium.

Fans should NOT bring bags, backpacks, briefcases, umbrellas and similar items into the Stadium.  All items brought into the Stadium will be inspected.  Spectators can speed entry into the Stadium by leaving carry in items behind.

Stadium regulations and the NJSIAA prohibit whistles, balls, posters, flags, noisemaking devices, mechanical noise making devices, pointed objects, laser pointers, air horns, poles, fireworks, weapons and balloons and any other items deemed unacceptable by stadium management from being brought into the facility.

Spectators will NOT be permitted to have radios, tape recorders or video tape machines at NJSIAA tournament games.  Violators will be denied admission or requested to leave the game site.

Pat-downs and Meadowlands K-9 Corps will be utilized in regard to any of the above.  The NJ State Police and Stadium security will be on site in addition to NJSIAA and school security personnel.
