We’re coming down to the wire and have the four best teams left in the Bergen County tournament. The semifinals will happen today at River Dell High School. The first game will tell us if IHA will be playing for its fifth straight County tournament title or if the four-time champion will see one of the great runs in tournament history ended. the second game features the last two undefeated teams in Bergen County. Northern Highlands, the No. 1 team in the North Jersey Top 25 takes on the only small school left in the field and has advanced to the semifinals for the first time in about a decade.
It all starts at noon when No. 2 seed Ramapo faces No. 3 seed IHA. Top seed Northern Highlands takes on No. 4 seed Glen Rock at 2 p.m. One of those teams will have their first loss by 5 p.m. It could be a little later if the first game goes overtime, but you get the concept.
