This past weekend was a successful one for River Dell athletics. We played in four varsity contests and won them all.
Football defeated Dwight Morrow on the road in Englewood by a score of 35-0 to improve to 2-0 on the season. This coming Friday night the Hawks will play at Ramsey at 7 pm against the 2-0 Rams in the MSG Varsity Game of the Week.
Boys Soccer beat Bergenfield in overtime by a score of 2-1 to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Hawks play at highly regarded Pascack Valley tonight at 7 pm.
Field Hockey defeated Dwight Englewood at home on Friday afternoon at the Stadium Field by a score of 2-0. The girls record now stands at 2-3 on the season and they travel to Passaic Valley this afternoon for a 4:15 pm contest.
Girls Volleyball beat Bergenfield 2-0 (25-8, 25-9) to even their record at 2-2. The girls are home vs. Pascack Valley tomorrow afternoon in the Upper Gymnasium at 4:15 pm.
Girls Soccer is home tomorrow vs. Bergenfield on the Stadium Field at 4:15 pm.
Girls Tennis is home tomorrow vs. Pascack Valley at the High School Courts at 4:15 pm.
Boys & Girls Cross Country competes against Indian Hills tomorrow at Garrett Mountain at 4:55 pm.
