Girls Volleyball beat West Side 2-0 (25-7, 25-8) last Tuesday and Parsippany 2-0 (25-16, 25-10) last Thursday in the NJSIAA state tournament. The team will now take on Pascack Valley at home on Monday, 11/7 at 4:15 pm in the semifinal round of the North Group II tournament. The girls are now 20-3 on the season and have won the Big North Conference, Patriot Division title in consecutive years. River Dell is ranked #6 in the state of NJ, #1 among Group II schools by the Star-Ledger and #4 by The Record.
Football defeated Dumont 35-0 on Friday night on the road to improve to 8-1 on the season. The team will play home this coming Friday night, 11/11 at 6 pm against an opponent to be determined in the first round of the NJSIAA state sectional playoffs. The Hawks have won the Big North Conference, American Division for the second year in a row. The team is ranked #10 among Group II schools and #8 in Bergen County by the Star-Ledger.
